Ecofriendly Cleaning

If you use those ecofriendly cleaning products and stay away from the ones which are toxic and polluting the environment you will not only do a favour to the planet, you will get a fresh and clean environment in your home as well.

You should avoid waxes, oven cleaners and other poisonous products, and use ecofriendly cleaning products. If you must have the chemicals that damage the environment, keep them somewhere where they cannot leak or get in the hands of the children. The best place would be to lock them somewhere in your basement. Don’t pour the rest of the product into the kitchen sink or leave it in your garbage bag. Dispose of it separately from your usual garbage.

Try replacing these products with ecofriendly cleaning products. Those are biodegradable mixtures which aren’t toxic, and due to that fact not hazardous for your loved ones and environment. You will recognize them by the fact that they don’t have a warning on the label which says DANGER, POISON or CAUTION. Those with the word DANGER or POISON are the most dangerous for your health, avoid them completely.WARNING means it is less damaging, and CAUTION means it is moderately poisonous. Instead, choose your product which has a label that says Ecofriendly or Environment friendly. They could be even more useful for your needs and they are certainly safer for you and
the environment.

So avoid the petroleum based products and buy something else. You might try making a homemade ecofriendly cleaner on your own. Just google the term “homemade ecofriendly cleaning” and you will find loads of recipes for them. Don’t forget to mark every cleaner you make to avoid confusing them with some other thing you could drink or ingest.

Instead of paper towels you can use a rag to clean your spills. It is not only good for the environment, but it saves your funds too. Additionally, you can avoid using sponges and similar products with antibacterial matters added. Those things are hard to degrade and damaging the ecosystem and the person using it.

Be careful when you use disinfectants and bleaches. Sure they are efficient and easy to use, but on the long run you will notice that they do not clean as well as before. {That is due to the fact that bacteria and dirt becomes resistant to the chemicals during the course of time.| That is because the bacteria and the dirt develop the resistance to the chemicals in a while.| The reason is the bacteria and the dirt with time develop the resistance to the chemicals. And it may be the reason of pollution of the sewer system and through that, the environment.

And last but not least, be careful about your water and air. Be sure your water is not unhealthy by contacting your supplier and checking the list of its ingredients. If you have the hard water, make use of sodium bicarbonate to prevent your washing machine and the dishwasher from breaking down.

And for clean and fresh air don’t use ari fresheners people normally do. Instead of that, use flowers and other plants. They create oxygen and absorb the bad odors. If you are in a big city, use the air filters or the ventilation filters.
