InXpo has provided specific details about the updates to its virtual events platform - which has now reached version 8.2 - on the company blog. Description of these details after the jump.
There are three main update areas to the platform: messaging, search, and live motion templates.
In the messaging section, the company has added an expanded communication notification bar and the ability to write a short message when declining a chat request. The bar is intended so that no communication missives are missed, which may have happened in the past with the product's flashing indicator. The short message capability is a way of allowing for a more polite way of turning down a communication request.
The search function has been improved by adding a 'blog search' function to search for blogs within the event. The company also notes that more search improvements are forthcoming.
And thirdly, live motion templates have been added to XpoBuilder, enabling expo developers to add moving backgrounds such as water, trees, windmills, and seven other templates. This is in addition to the static templates InXpo already offers.
